Who we are
Impact DAO Media’s (IDM) mission is to elevate the stories of Impact DAOs and be the definitive source of truth on all things Impact DAOs. We’re committed to learning by doing (DAOing), conducting research and elevating the stories of impact builders. We're both researchers and storytellers and we exist to serve and grow this space.
What we’ve done so far
In season 1 (Jun to Nov 2022), IDM conducted an intensive study of 12 mature Impact DAOs (min 5 months in operation as of June 2022) and published a book, The Definitive Guide to Impact DAOs. We also launched a podcast, All About Impact DAOs with 21 episodes. A must listen for authentic conversations with builders of Impact DAOs.
Season 2 Plan
In season 2 we aspire to keep knowledge updated, create new content and build a network of impact builders supporting each other in their journey to build a better world. Season 2 runs from January 15th to April 30th, 2023.
We’re seeking contributors for three core areas:
1. Impact DAOs Research
Identify and research the next set of mature Impact DAOs. Learn everything about them from inside out through one on one conversations with impact builders. The audio interviews to be streamed as podcasts.
2. Impact DAOs Book
Our goal is to break down the Impact DAOs book in different formats for easy understanding. The idea is to:
Visualize the entire book.
Add audio
Redesign the book cover
NFT mint for print book
Self study courses on 101.xyz
Twitter threads on case studies + builder interviews
Update the book with new case studies and findings
Video + audio clips of builder interviews
3. Impact DAOs Network
Our goal is to build a community of impact builders learning, building and growing together. We aim to conduct a series of audio events to provide value to our network and a dedicated space for impact builders to have DAO building conversations, exchange ideas and notes.
