Step 3: How To Find Your Tribe (Community)
The best way to find your tribe is to say your "why" aloud on repeat. Say it everywhere and to everyone.
Be strategic, though; say it in places where people who care about your "why" will be present. Determine where on the internet or in real life your people are.
I found my tribe on Twitter since everyone in web3 is active there. Matai, from Kift DAO, found his tribe at NFT LA, where the Kift DAO founder expressed his "why" aloud. For Agustin Matteri, of United Species DAO, it was by sharing his "why" with every person he met. That's how I discovered his "why," and I assisted him in broadcasting it on Twitter Spaces and at Schelling Point Denver in 2023. He now has a buzzing Telegram group consisting of people who care about his "why."
I wrote our first version of Whitepaper back in June 2021 and found my tribe in the ReFi builders and Web3 dreamers of a better future - Wasabi, Founder, Kokonut Network

Small, highly aligned community > big, misaligned community.
One way to understand who your community is to understand who you serve. I realized this after running Impact DAO Media (IDM) for six months. My initial thoughts on the IDM community were that it comprises content creators with Bankless DAO as a reference. But as the culture of IDM devolved to being transactional, lacking the mission-first approach, I realized it's not them. Instead, it's the people who are excited about the cause, the builders, the futurist, and the ones at the intersection.
So keep fine-tuning 🎛️
